Krakow is one of the oldest and largest cities in Poland. Krakow is special in many ways, some may be surprised with the long and turbulent history of Krakow that started over a 1000 years ago, some with the numerous examples of architecture and monuments representing nearly all possible styles. Krakow is full of museums and galleries, Karkow is also home to 16 universities. Among the biggest attractions that we can find in Krakow is the largest Market Square in medieval Europe together with Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church (where you can see one of the largest Gothic altars in the world). The majestic Royal Wawel Castle with its world famous decorative tapestry collection. The former Jewish district of Krakow, called Kazimierz attracts tourists with relicts of it's past like the 7 synagogues located here. In addition to these and lots of other attractions in Cracow you can just sitt in one of the garden cafès and feel the special thing that we in Poland call the “atmosphere of Cracow” .
