This is a list of just a few recommended walks in the Tatra's including directions and estimated travel time. If you have any special interests in any of the other trails in the Tatra's then we have the appropriate walking maps available here and local knowledge to help you find your way. There are over 250km of walking trails available in the summer here, but less in the winter. More details will be given to you about each trail before you start your trips. Walks are listed from easy to most difficult. All tracks in the Tracks are clearly marked with coloured bands.

2. Starting point:-POLANA PALENICA -(road)- WODOGRZMOTY MICKIEWICZA -(green)- SIKLAWICA -(blue)- MOUNTAIN SHELTER IN DOLINA PIECIU STAWOW -(blue)- MORSKIE OKO -(red)- PARKING -(horse carriage) - POLANA PALENICA (ca.5h 30') + time to get down the road by horse carriage 30'

Starting point:- POLANA PALENICA -(road)- WODOGRZMOTY MICKIEWICZA -(green)- SIKLAWICA -(blue)- MOUNTAIN SHELTER IN DOLINA PIECIU STAWOW -(blue)- MORSKIE OKO -(red)- CZARNY STAW -(red)- AROUND THE LAKE -(red)- PARKING -(horse carriage) - POLANA PALENICA (ca.7h) + time to get down the road by horse carriage 30'
