Walking holidays in the Gorce mountains

This is an option for different walks available for five of the days that you will spend here, as most people do not do much on the day they arrive or leave. There are also many other attractions in the area that people will normally use a couple of days to see. The walks we have listed here are just options that most people do enjoy, but many others are available.

1 st day- Relatively easy day to get an idea of where you are and see the surrounding area. Starting point:- Mizerna - (across the fields) - Wdzar Mountain - (blue trail) - Czorsztyn Castle (optional take a boat across the lake to Niedzica Castle) (ca. 3h 20' )

2 nd day- A little harder walk, more climbing involved, but with great views over the lake and surrounding area including the Pieniny and the Tatra's. Starting point:- GORCE

KLUSZKOWCE -(national reserve paths)- JAWORZYNKI -(red+blue)- LUBAN -(blue)- WDZAR -(across the fields)- MIZERNA (ca. 4h).

3 rd day-A longer walk today that will take you to the top of the three crowns in the Pieniny National Park. You will need to use a bus to get to the starting point and back from the finishing point. (Will give you all information needed to do this trip). Starting point:- PIENINY SROMOWCE NIZNE -(yellow)- PRZELECZ CHWALA BOGU -(blue)- TRZY KORONY -(blue+yellow)- KROSCIENKO (ca. 3h 30').

4 th day-The walk today will take you to one of the most visited mountains in Poland. You will walk up to Morskie Oko, which is the biggest lake in Tatras andto the highest waterfall, called Siklawica. In springtime you need to be aware of bears that wake up and start looking for food J . Starting point:- POLANA PALENICA -(road)- WODOGRZMOTY MICKIEWICZA -(green)- SIKLAWICA -(blue)- MOUNTAIN SHELTER IN DOLINA PIECIU STAWOW -(blue)- MORSKIE OKO -(red)- PARKING -(horse carriage) - POLANA PALENICA (ca.5h 30') + time to get down the road by horse carriage 30' Transport to the starting point and back is included in the price.

5 th day- Today we are going to give you a chance to experience a very unique tourist attraction in our area, The traditional river rafting on the Dunajec. You will start the day with a walk to the starting point of the rafting and then come back by bus from Szczawnica at the end of the day. Starting point:- MIZERNA -(fields)- WDZAR -(blue)- CZORSZTYN CASTLE -(boat across the lake in summet season)- NIEDZICA -(red)- SROMOWCE KATY -(rafting down the river)- SZCZAWNICA (ca. 3h 30' of walking time + castels sightseeing + rafting about 2h 30')

	Total Price & What's Included The price for this package is £145 pr person based on 6 people booking to stay in 3 double rooms. Included in the price is; Transport to and from Krakow airport, your stay with us on a full board bases (lunch packed at breakfast) and transportation for the walk on day 4. For smaller groups or single travelers please contact me for prices. No flights are included in this offer.

	Accomodation: One Week - Your stay will be in one of our double rooms with en-suite and tea/coffee making facilities. You will be staying with us on a Full board bases with the option to pack lunch at breakfast. Traditional polish breakfast is served between 8:00am and 9:30 am.
